My homemade burger

I love a good burger and I am not talking about Mc Donald but real juicy burger. I guess you already figured it out from my previous posts on Big Fernand or Double D.

This time, let me share with you my homemade burger recipe. It easy, simple and ready to eat in just a few minutes.

  1. Grind the chili in a mortar, mix it in a ball with the mustard, egg, breadcrumb, parmesan and minced beef. Simply season to your liking and make four individual patties. Keep in the fridge for about an hour
  2. In the meantime, caramelise your onions. To do so, finely slices your onions, drop them in a very hot pan with a bit of butter and olive oil. Quickly turn the heat to the lowest possible level for a good 20 minutes and keep stirring.
  3. When ready to cook the burgers, get your grill or frying pan ready. Lightly oil your patties and cook them to your liking. Try to turn them every 2 or 3 minutes to have them pink and juicy
  4. Sandwich everything together and start eating immediately.
